Meet the Maker

Hello! I've been building costumes since the last century. I started doing it as a business in 2005. I still enjoy experimenting and taking on new challenges, finding new materials, and dressing up as fuzzy critters.

How many costumes have you built?

I honestly haven't kept count.

Did I see you at that convention...?

Possibly! I do attend furry, fantasy, and gaming conventions. Over the years, I've helped to found a furry con, been a guest of honor at a different con, and delivered various instructional panels.

Are you the person who wrote that book...?

I wrote the first book specifically about building fursuits, "Critter Costuming." While that was a number of years ago (and techniques and materials have changed), I still sometimes encounter folks who got started using that book which is tremendously gratifying! I love seeing people building their own costumes and learning the skills involved.
